Water Injustice...

"Israeli occupation forces demolished two wells and an agricultural water tank in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, under the pretext of construction without a permit.

Occupation forces, accompanied by the so-called "Israeli Civil Administration" and two bulldozers, stormed the Wadi al-Wahadin area near the "Karmei Tzur" settlement. They demolished a water well belonging to Jamil Mohammed Hussein Alqam and an agricultural water tank belonging to Salama Ali Sabri Arar, both of which were used for irrigation purposes.

Later, the same forces raided the Wadi al-Sheikh area near the town's entrance and demolished a second water well belonging to Hassan Odeh Abdel Rahman al-Alami.

Awad explained that the owners had previously received "stop-work" notices, but they were surprised this morning by the execution of the demolition before legal proceedings were fully completed.

These violations are part of a systematic policy to pressure farmers and displace them from their lands to facilitate the expansion of settlements built on Palestinian-owned property."
